So the Met Gala was this past Monday and we’ve finally narrowed down our favorite looks of the night! With punk as the theme we were so thrilled to see how the stars would interpret this motif with not only their fashion choices, but their beauty looks as well! From edgy, trendy to just flat out fabulous, these stars did not disappoint delivering nothing but ultimate punk perfection!

Jennifer Lopez

Now that’s how you do a faux-hawk! We all know that J.Lo is a glamour girl all-day, everyday, but that didn’t stop her from delivering some serious showstopping edge Monday night!  While Miss Lopez stayed true to form in an ultra glamorous animal print Michael Kors gown, she brought the edge with that killer updo’! And who said punk couldn’t be glam? Completely faux-hawk Fabulous!

Emily Blunt

Forget statement lips, Emily looked positively punk and totally on trend with her bright neon pink winged liner. With a classic black Carolina Herrera gown and a knotted up-do’, Emily Blunt definitely turned up edginess and showed us all how pink eyeliner is done! Even Anna Wintour herself was quoted saying “the color of punk is pink,” and what Wintour says goes! With some to die for Lorraine Schwartz dagger earrings to complete the look, Emily looked darring and dangerous!

Kristen Stewart

While I typically don’t like K.Stew’s red carpet looks, her deep maroon ensemble had me thinking twice! This Stella McCartney jumpsuit was stunning, different and still very feminine. I also really loved  the smoked out eye that used the same deep red color scheme as her jumpsuit! I thought it was just the right amount of edge that wasn’t too matchy-matchy. From her outfit, makeup and slicked back hair (plus those fab heels), K.Stew’s look was the pleasantly unexpected!

Lily Collins

 Lily Collins had the punk theme down pat as she donned a gorgeous Moschino gown complete with leather and lace (and not to mention some studs)! But the real winner of this look was her hair and makeup! Look at those eyes, amazing! Miss Collins was definitely not afraid to push the edginess as she left her lids bare, and softly defined the shape of her eyes with shadow. From the dramatic outlined wing to the blue streaks through her hair, I was completely obsessed with every detail of Lily’s look!

Cara Delevingne

Plunging neckline, some serious studs, a side braid, tousled hair, and finally the classic smokey eye? All we can say is Cara’s Met Gala look was flawlessly punk! From her beautiful Burberry gown, to those intense eyes, this look is the epitome of edgy, punk and even translatable for everyday wear. This look is perfect for a night out or even a walk down the aisle. So attention edgy brides, don’t be afraid of a little drama because this look is completely doable! From the on trend side swept hair, braided texture and always classic smoked out eye, this look is perfect for those looking for a little something extra (and thats why we love it)!

Emmy Rossum

Emmy Rossum was hands down my favorite of the night! From head to toe, this beauty was totally punky, funky chic! While Emmy stunned in an elegant silver Donna Karan Atelier gown, her edgy braided updo gave a beautifully textured balance to the look! But what really completed Emmy’s edgy ensemble were her dramatic winged out eyes. The strong and defined wing with a rusty colored undertone was breathtaking, dramatic and still soft!
