Skin Care Tips

1.) Good Makeup starts with good skin- keep a healthy diet, exercise, don’t smoke and drink plenty of water.
2.) Always use SPF!
3.) Never use soap. Soap drys and will strip your skin
4.) Your skin is always changing due to age, climate, etc. Be sure to adjust your skin care products accordingly. For example, in the humid summer heat, you might prefer a gel cleanser as opposed to a creamy one.
5.) After washing, pat dry, don’t rub or pull.
6.) Avoid toners that have alcohol in them.
7.) Do not over exfoliate your skin. Dry skin- 1x per week. Oily skin- 2-3x per week
8.) It’s best to apply moisturizer on damp skin and allow to sit for a few minutes.
9.) Don’t use eye cream on your eye lids, your eye shadow may crease.
10.) Treat yourself to a facial every once and a while. Aside from the obvious skin benefits, they help to melt away the stresses of everyday life!
